Phoe Li Flew From: Las Angeles To: Hong Kong in December/2007 in Economy Class
I brought 4 Cathay Pacific airline tickets for 2007 Christmas Holiday. It was disappointed and unpleasant air flight experience that I never had encounter as a traveler. They provide poor service and ignore customer complaint. Their airplane schedule always delay and have all different excuses. On that trip, I waited 2 1/2 hours to get on the plane. Their excuse was the airplane arrive late to the airport (they actually did not inform passengers the reason at the entry gate, I file complaint to Cathay Pacific after, that was the answer they replied to me). Weather and technical problem were not cause the dalay on that day. I saw other flights to asia all left on time. This is not passenger’s problem and Cathay Pacific should take responsible to ensure that there is airplane for passengers to take according to flight schedule which post on flight ticket. If you have non-stop ticket, you might end up lay over at the other airport. They told me at the check-in counter (at the last minute)that the flight had to stop at Taiwan (one of asia country) for refuel. I brought NON-STOP round trip air ticket. It cause me 3 1/2 hours delay by the time the plane landed on HongKong airport. If the airplane leave on time at LA airport, it only take an hour delay which I (most of passengers) can accept it as common delay for international flight. Thing TWICE before you buy their SERVICE. CATHAY PACIFIC DO NOT deserve 5-star rate airline!!!! |

Service was not good. Unhappy that the Airline lost my luggage. Will not recommend to fly Cathay. |
